|a.k.a.||“Ah So Koh”|
|Type of Game||circle game|
|Number of Participants||unlimited|
|Where to Play||inside or outside|
How to Play:
Everyone sits in a circle and learns the three commands/movements:
- Ah! (put left or right hand across forehead in a saluting motion with fingers pointing at the person next to you)
- Soh! (put left or right hand across chin in a saluting motion with fingers pointing at the person next to you)
- Gi! (put both arms together in front of you in a clapping motion and point to someone else anywhere in the circle)
The phrases must always go in the order listed above and each requires the correct hand motion. It is your turn when you are pointed at by someone next to you (Ah or Soh) or when someone else in the circle points at you (Gi).
When someone makes a mistake (says the wrong command, uses the wrong movement, hesitates for too long) they are out.
When someone gets out everyone puts a hand in the middle with the thumb up and says, “you’re outta here!”
That person leaves the circle and the rest of the members move in to fill in the space. The person to the right of the now “out” person starts the game again with “Ah!”
The game ends when there are only two people left.
